Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

TVUSD provides an employer-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Jorgensen Brooks Group (JBG), offering confidential, no-cost support to employees and their immediate family members. This program is available 24/7 to address both clinical and non-clinical challenges that may impact well-being at home or work.

Clinical Care includes confidential assessments and short-term counseling for issues such as marital and relationship concerns, parenting challenges, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, stress, workplace conflicts, and more. Employees and their families are eligible for up to six free sessions per issue, per year. Counseling can be accessed in person, virtually, or through crisis services available around the clock.

Personal Care provides professional consultation for non-clinical issues, including legal matters (e.g., will preparation, landlord disputes), financial challenges (e.g., debt management), identity theft recovery, child and elder care resources, educational guidance, housing support, savings on goods, and access to medical advice via Mayo Clinic resources. Legal disputes with employers and regulated financial planning services are not included.

Employees can contact JBG anytime through local or toll-free numbers. If additional resources are needed, JBG can provide referrals to self-help groups, behavioral health professionals, or other services based on individual needs and insurance coverage. All services are strictly confidential, and employers are not informed of program usage.
