Medical Coverage

TVUSD continues to offer medical coverage through UnitedHealthcare (UHC), providing three plan options to meet the diverse needs of employees and their families:  

• Two PPO Plans  
• One High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA)  

TVUSD covers 100% of the cost for qualifying employees enrolled in the HDHP with HSA and most of the cost for "employee-only" coverage under the PPO plans. Additional contributions are also provided toward dependent coverage.
