TVUSD Substitute Teachers & Classroom Aides Needed!



Have you wondered what it would be like to be a substitute teacher or classroom aide in the Tanque Verde School District?



Now is a great time to find out! We have a need for Substitute Classroom Teachers and Aides. If you have the necessary qualifications, and an interest in working with our Tanque Verde USD students, we would love to work with YOU!


Classified Substitutes - Classroom Aides/Paraprofessionals:

• Desire to work in the classroom or other areas with students
  
  
• Compliance with ALL COVID-19 Safety Protocols
  
  
• Must be able to pass an FBI fingerprint background check

Certified Substitute Teachers: 

• Following are the requirements to become a TVUSD Substitute Teacher. 
  
  
• Arizona Department of Education Substitute Teacher Certification
  
• Valid Arizona Dept. of Safety IVP Fingerprint Card
  
  
• Desire to work in the classroom
  
  
• Compliance with ALL COVID-19 Safety Protocols
  
  
  
  Arizona Dept. of Education - Requirements for Certificate
  
  
  
  Go to the Arizona Department of Education website and complete an Application for Certification. 
  
  To get a Sub Cert you will need to provide official transcripts showing achievement of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  
  You will also need a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint card. More information on how to get an IVP card is available here: Educator Certification: Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP).
  
  There is a $60 application fee.
